The 2025 Nevada Offroad Summit Comes to Elko
The Nevada Offroad Association (NVORA) is bringing the Annual Nevada Offroad Summit to the Elko Convention Center, October 1–3, 2025 and this year’s theme is adaptability. In a world where trail access, regulations, and recreation demands are constantly shifting, adaptability isn’t just a skill, it’s an important tool for the OHV community.
Hosted by NVORA, supported by the Nevada Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Program, and proudly sponsored by NextEra Energy, this free event welcomes everyone; industry professionals, land managers, club leaders, advocates, and everyday riders alike.
A Dynamic Lineup of Presenters and Conversations
The Summit kicks off Wednesday with a keynote from Congressman Mark Amodei, followed by sessions that dig into how local and federal planning intersect on public lands, club success stories, and a “Campfire Session” of open and candid conversations among community leaders.
Thursday morning features presentations on the Nevada Recreation Economic Impact Study, youth safety education from Nevada Outdoor School’s Ride Safe, Ride Smart program, and updates from Travel Nevada. In the afternoon, participants will hit the dirt for an offroad trail ride, a chance to experience the incredible Elko landscape via trail. For those staying in town, optional “Stop the Bleed” safety training will also be offered.
Friday brings NVORA’s State of the Association update, important safety initiatives like Rail Aware and Slow and Say Hello, and space for open discussion before closing remarks.
Why Attend?
• It’s free and open to everyone – there are no registration fees.
• Networking opportunities and connect with people who are actively shaping OHV access and policy in Nevada.

The Annual Nevada Offroad Summit is a catalyst for collaboration and a reminder that adaptability is key to keeping Nevada’s trails open and thriving. Whether you’re an OHV club leader, a policy maker, a business owner, or a weekend rider, your voice and perspective matter here.
