The Sherman Dinner & Auction is an event held every year to generate funding for the home of the Elko Area Chamber: The Historical Sherman Station. The Sherman Station was completed in 1903, with the outbuildings completed in 1880; all funds raised during the event are used for the restoration and preservation, along with the everyday maintenance of these historical buildings.
