Summer – Healthy Teens Program for Grades 5-7- Elko, NV

Family Resource Center is hosting a free Healthy Teens program for youth in grades 5-7 (ages 10 to 12). Promoting Health Among Teens is a lively, evidence-based, age-appropriate program, proven effective in reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and teen pregnancy. This program incorporates medically accurate information along with crucial knowledge on how to keep themselves safe and handle social pressures. Youth learn about reproductive health, hygiene, responsibility, avoiding risky behaviors, and build knowledge and confidence. Youth who complete the program receive a free backpack full of school supplies or a $25 store gift card. One free incentive allowed per teen per year. Held at the FRC, 331 7th St. in Elko.
