Rock Band Quiet Riot During Rides and Rods 2026
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Nevada, in partnership with Rides & Rods and presenting sponsor Riverton-Elko GM Superstore, are proud to present Classic Nights Elko, an unforgettable night of classic rock headlined by legendary band Quiet Riot, taking place September 11, 2026, during the yearly Rides and Rods event.
Quiet Riot helped define the sound of 1980s rock and heavy metal, becoming the first heavy metal band in history to top the Billboard Top 200 chart with their groundbreaking album Metal Health. The album’s explosive success launched the band into global stardom and helped usher in the era of hard rock and metal that dominated MTV and radio throughout the decade. Driven by the iconic hits “Cum On Feel the Noize” and “Bang Your Head (Metal Health)”, Metal Health went five-times platinum and has since sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, contributing to Quiet Riot’s more than 15 million records sold globally. Today, Quiet Riot continues to bring their legendary high-energy performances to audiences across the country, performing fan favorites including “Cum On Feel the Noize,” “Bang Your Head (Metal Health),” “Mama Weer All Crazee Now,” “Slick Black Cadillac,” and “The Wild and the Young.”
The concert will take place at the Elko Events Center, with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. and live music kicking off later in the evening. Following the show, attendees are invited to stay for the official after-party, keeping the celebration going late into the night.
This new concert is being presented in collaboration with Rides & Rods, one of Northeastern Nevada’s most beloved automotive events. Founded by the late Jeff Remington and his wife Stormy Remington, the annual event celebrates classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles while bringing together hundreds of enthusiasts each year in Elko. With burnouts, vendors, live entertainment, and a strong community following, the partnership between Classic Nights Elko and Rides & Rods brings together two passions shared across the region, classic cars and classic rock.
