12th Annual Fall Craft Festival
Mark, your calendar for November 9th and 10th! The Elko community will, once again, be treated to another terrific event sponsored by the GFWC Lamoille Women’s Club; “THE FALL CRAFT FESTIVAL!” This event will be held indoors at the Spring Creek High School gymnasium, 14550 Lamoille Highway, Spring Creek, just an easy 10 minutes from downtown Elko. The two-day craft happening, under the creative eye of the GFWC Lamoille Women’s Club’s own event coordinator Joyce Kay will be open free to the public on Saturday from 9:00 am up until 4:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am with doors closing at 3:00 pm.
The GFWC Lamoille Women’s Club’s FALL CRAFT FESTIVAL is one of the premier Craft Marketplaces that starts the annual holiday season of bazaars and craft marts for the discerning Christmas shopper looking for the unique and truly creative gift in the Spring Creek/Elko area. Now is the time to enjoy shopping in a comfortable setting before the last-minute crush of December rolls around. The FALL CRAFT FESTIVAL offers an astonishing selection of diverse and creative artisans ready to provide you with that exceptional gift or treat for that special someone. There is no doubt you will fine just that right item being offered such as local photography, custom stoneware, handcrafted quilts, ceramics, ornate holiday ornament, luxurious artisan soaps, creative jewelry, old world wood and metal creations and the list goes on, you will just have to come and stroll the aisles to truly get the full scope of what is offered. Oh, and you can’t miss the opportunity to treat yourself to the wonders of our food vendors offering fresh baked goods, locally gathered honeys, enticing spice and dip selection for exceptional gift giving and for something to consume at the moment, outside there will be an amazing assortment of our own local food trucks.
It is important to note that the GFWC Lamoille Women’s Club will also be making available tickets for the renowned Opportunity Quilt which will be commemorating the “Golden Jubilee”, 50 years of the Lamoille Country Fair! It will surely be a collector item!!
It is important to note that the GFWC Lamoille Women’s Club has been and is an all-volunteer based organization founded over 100 years ago. The Club uses their time and talent to improve the communities of Lamoille, Spring Creek and Elko. The proceeds of all Club sponsored events and projects are reinvested in the community. The Club offers college Scholarships, donations to assist local service organizations such as Volunteer Fire Departments, community health care services, and both youth and senior support concerns, to name a few.
