On November 11, 2023, Elko will once again shine a bright spotlight on its heroes as the Elko Veteran Corps presents the highly anticipated third annual Elko Veterans Ball. This year’s event, featuring a sumptuous dinner, enchanting dancing, raffles, and a silent auction, promises to be a night of elegance, remembrance, and community solidarity.
A Tradition of Tribute
Since its inception in 2019, the Elko Veterans Ball has become a treasured tradition in Elko, Nevada. Conceived as a heartfelt tribute to the brave servicemen and women who have dedicated themselves to safeguarding our freedoms, the event has grown in significance each year. Beyond its ceremonial purpose, the ball serves as a cornerstone for raising vital funds for local Veterans’ programs and events.
This year holds special meaning as the Elko Veteran Corps, led by directors Kacie Ortiz and Crystal Koppe, achieved nonprofit status during the summer of 2023. This milestone underscores their unwavering commitment to supporting Veterans and their families, signaling a brighter future for both the organization and the community it serves.
An Evening of Elegance and Unity
The 2023 Elko Veterans Ball promises to be an evening of unparalleled elegance and unity. Commencing at 5:00 PM, the event will begin with a refined cocktail hour, where attendees can mingle and enjoy the soothing melodies of the Elko High School Orchestra, setting the stage for an enchanting evening.
During the opening ceremony, guests will enjoy a special presentation of honor and tribute to our local heroes, featuring the Elko High School Choraliers performing the national anthem, a poignant tribute to the spirit of the event. Following the opening ceremony, guests will be treated to a gourmet dinner provided by one of our many wonderful local caterers. The ballroom will then come alive with the rhythm of music and dancing.
Raffles and Silent Auction
The Elko Veterans Ball goes beyond fine dining and dancing; it also features thrilling raffles and a silent auction. Attendees will have the opportunity to win a diverse range of exciting prizes, all while contributing to a noble cause.
