Endless Pawsibilities Foundation Fundraiser and Adoption Event
Written by Jess Pollard
Endless Pawsibilities Foundation became a 501(c)(3) organization in February of 2023.
As a group, their goal is to serve rural Nevada counties by providing additional animal resources to the community and their pets. They are doing so by providing pet food and supplies to those in need, facilitating foster arrangements and adoptions, and transporting at risk animals for another chance at adoption. Endless Pawsibilities Foundation has partnered with several other animal-based businesses and nonprofit organizations within the county to better serve the community by combining efforts.
On February 18th, 2023, Endless Pawsibilities Foundation and the Community Cares Fund hosted their first annual Kissing Booth and adoption event. This event featured Makin’ Memories Photography taking photos of attendees and their furry friends in the kissing booth, adoptable dogs, painting with your own “Paw-ccaso”, and a hot chocolate bar. The event was designed to bring awareness to both nonprofit organizations and to find the purr-fect homes for their adoptable dogs.
The event was successful in all aspects. There was a large outpour of support from the community, fun was had by owners and their pets, and two dogs were successfully adopted.
Mavis, a black Labrador mix, was adopted by a wonderful couple in Spring Creek, NV through the Community Cares Fund. Mavis who is typically reserved, instantly connected with her new family. The husband admitted that he had already purchased a dog bed that he had hid from his wife prior to meeting Mavis. Holly, a Husky/Australian Shepard mix, was adopted by a young man from Spring Creek, NV through Endless Pawsibilities Foundation. The young man had come to the event that day as a volunteer. After meeting Holly, he designated himself as her handler and applied to adopt her that evening.
Endless Pawsibilities Foundation will continue to grow and provide as many additional animal resources to the community as possible. Their goal is to change the narrative about animal welfare and the human-animal bond in rural Nevada counties. This can be accomplished with the support of the community, working together with other animal-based nonprofit organizations, and active participation alongside local agencies.
