For those who enjoy learning, online classes such as Photographing Nature, Photographing People, How to Make Money from Your Writing, Understanding the Cloud, Driver Education, and Instant Italian are just a few of the many topics you’ll find at www.campusce.net/gbcnv. Students may choose instructor-led or self-paced options, and there is no need to wait until the beginning of a semester as new courses generally start every month.

If you’re looking for a new career in healthcare, Great Basin College provides online training for Dental Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, Physical Therapy Aide, Hemodialysis Technician, and Veterinary Assistant. If you are interested in computers, you can train to become a Data Analyst who collects, processes and performs analyses on huge quantities of information to help businesses make better and faster decisions. Python Developer is another field in which GBC offers online training. Python is the most popular language for applications in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Companies like Quora, Facebook, YouTube, SlideShare, Reddit, and Netflix have most of their code written in Python. You can complete coursework for all these careers in under a year while studying on a schedule that fits your life. 

Upcoming GBC Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class A training is scheduled March 1, April 12 and May 24. The college recently secured a state-of-the-art driving simulator through CARES Act funding. While some students are completing their city and highway driving in the GBC tractor trailer, others will gain valuable skills practice using the computer simulator. The CDL program is funded in part by industry supporters KC Transport, Nevada Gold Mines, Pilot Thomas Logistics, Savage Services, and Saconix. Scholarships are available to those who qualify.
