DESCRIPTION:Fall Craft Festival \nSaturday\, November 12-Sunday\, November 13 \nThe FALL CRAFT FESTIVAL is back! November 12-13\, 2022. This is the official kick off to the holiday season. With over 40 fabulous food\, craft and holiday vendors and NEW this year\, Food Tuck row. All your favorites will be there and some exciting new ones. The Fall Craft Festival is organized by the Lamoille Women’s Club and held at the Spring Creek High School Gymnasium on Highway 227 (Lamoille Highway) which is less than 10 minutes from Elko. Saturday hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday’s hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Lamoille Women’s Club is a volunteer-based organization that use their time and talent to improve the communities of Lamoille\, Spring Creek and Elko. Proceeds for the events and projects are reinvested back into the community.

DESCRIPTION:Healthy Teens Program for Grades 5-7 \nSaturday\, November 12\, 9:00am-4:00pm \nFamily Resource Center is hosting a free Healthy Teens program for youth in Grades 5-7 (ages 10-12). “Promoting Health Among Teens” is a lively\, evidence-based\, age-appropriate program\, proven effective in reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections\, HIV/AIDS\, and teen pregnancy. This program incorporates medically accurate information along with crucial knowledge on how to help youth keep themselves safe and handle social pressures. They learn about reproductive health\, puberty\, hygiene\, responsibility\, avoiding risky behaviors\, and build knowledge and confidence. Youth who complete the program receive a free backpack full of school supplies. One free incentive allowed per teen per year (Oct 2022-Sept 2023). Held at the FRC\, 331 7th St. in Elko. Lunch will be provided for attendees.
