Presented by the Northeastern Nevada Museum. Ducks will be dumped from 12th St. bridge. Finish line is at 9th St. bridge. The Museum’s biggest fundraiser, the Great Humboldt Duck Race has become one of Elko’s unique family events. Every year thousands of little rubber duckies are adopted by supporters of the Museum and then dumped into the Humboldt River, where they race to the finish line.
