Lamoille Women’s Club Fall Craft Festival

November 9th and 10th, the second weekend in November, THE ELKO Community will be treated to another GREAT EVENT by the LAMOILLE WOMEN’S CLUB. The Fall Craft Festival organized by the Lamoille Women’s Club Board of Officers under the Direction of Joyce Kay, President, is held at Spring Creek High School Gymnasium on Highway 227 (Lamoille Highway) which is less than 10 minutes from Elko Proper. Saturday’s hours are 10:00am to 4:00pm, Sunday’s hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm. The Lamoille Women’s Club is a volunteer based organization that use their time and talent to improve the communities of Lamoille, Spring Creek and Elko. Proceeds for the events and projects are reinvested back into the community. 

They take the responsibility to maintains the Lamoille Club House, provide scholarships for seniors at Spring Creek High School, Students at Great Basin College, individuals at Harbor House, donations to Lamoille and Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Departments, Hospice, The Elko County Fair exhibit awards, CADV , the Lamoille Post Office, the Lamoille Church, and Our Elko County Veterans.

The Fall Craft Festival is one of the Craft Extravaganzas that opens the season of holiday bazars and craft events for Christmas shoppers in the Spring Creek/Elko area. Take time from your weekend and enjoy shopping the comfortable setting among the various booths available to find a unique gift for that someone special.  Well-made creative items for shopper’s satisfaction will be available at the extravaganza.  Local photography, stoneware, quilts, ceramics, Christmas ornaments, homemade soaps, soap dishes, handmade jewelry, wood crafts, metal crafts, and refurbished furniture. For the foodies, there will be gourmet olives, garlic oil, and other spices packaged for gift giving, breads, and chocolate delights, not to mention Scentsy Candles and other Christmas items, totes, children’s toys and boutique clothing. Shop and browse in a spacious room with great crafters, friends and members of the Lamoille Women’s Club who will be displaying the new Fair Quilt (Trails to the Star) for 2020 made by Joyce Kay, quilted by Terry Bowers of Ruby Valley.  Be sure to stop by the LWC booth to purchase an opportunity to win this quilt. The winner will be drawn at 3:30 June 28th, 2020 at the 45th Lamoille Country Fair.
